Ekaterina Gueorguieva and Judy Huehn are both graduates of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and have been playing together as a piano duo since 2001. They were recently awarded the "Three Sponsors Prize" (Ongakuno Tomo Co., Ltd./Kawai Musical instrument Co., Ltd./Yamaha Co., Ltd.) as finalists at the 12th International Piano Duo Competition in Tokyo, Japan. They also received a Distinguished Musicians Award from the Ibla Grand Prize International Music Competition 2003 in Sicily, Italy and have performed together in Paris at the International Piano Festival at the Alfred Cortot Ecole de Musique in 2002.
